Shipping
We require up to three business days to process and ship your order. Once your package has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
For shipments to non-EU countries (e.g., Switzerland), customs or import duties may be incurred subsequently, in addition to shipping costs, and are levied by the respective country. These are to be borne by the recipient.

Returns & Exchanges

Should something not fit or not meet your expectations – no problem. You have three options, depending on the issue:

Note: You are free to choose which option suits you best. In case of a defect in the goods, we recommend making a complaint – it is free of charge for you and grants you the greatest extent of rights.
1. Your right of withdrawal (14 days)
As a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal. This means: You can withdraw from your order within 14 days without giving reasons.
How to withdraw
Send us a clear statement (e.g., an email) informing us that you wish to withdraw from the contract. You can also use the sample withdrawal form on our "Right of Withdrawal" page – but you don't have to.

The deadline
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you (other than the carrier) received the goods. For orders with several items that are delivered separately, the period begins upon receipt of the last item.
Important: Within these 14 days, you only need to send the declaration. You then have another 14 days to return the goods themselves.
Return and Costs
After your withdrawal, you have 14 days to return the goods to our logistics partner:

You bear the direct costs of the return. You have two options:
- You return the goods at your own expense with a shipping service provider of your choice.
- You use our convenient return label at a flat rate of €4.95 (Germany) or €9.95 (international). This service fee will be deducted from your refund with your express consent.
Refund
We will refund you the full purchase price including the original shipping costs (excluding additional costs if you chose a more expensive delivery than the standard delivery) within 14 days of receipt of your withdrawal statement. The refund will be made using the original payment method, unless we have agreed otherwise with you.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have shipped them – whichever occurs first.
Important for orders to Switzerland and the United Kingdom: Import VAT and customs duties, which you paid to the customs clearance office upon receipt of the goods, will not be refunded by us because they were not paid to us. You may be able to claim a refund directly from the relevant customs authority.
For customers from Switzerland and the United Kingdom
You have the same return rights as customers from the EU. However, please note two specifics:
- Return shipping costs in the shipping countries can be significantly higher than within Germany (depending on the provider, around 20 to 40 Euros). You bear these costs yourself.
- For your order, import VAT and, if applicable, customs duties were paid separately by you to the customs clearance office. These amounts were not paid to us and therefore cannot be refunded by us in the event of a withdrawal. You may be able to claim a refund directly from the relevant customs authority.
Compensation for loss of value
Trying on is expressly permitted – as in retail stores. Only if you have handled the goods in such a way that they have lost value beyond a mere inspection (e.g., prolonged wearing, washing, visible signs of use), we must deduct a corresponding compensation for loss of value from the refund.
2. Complaint – if the goods are defective
Are the goods defective, arrived damaged, or did we accidentally send you the wrong item? Then please contact us immediately – we will take care of it.
Your rights
In case of a defect, you have statutory warranty rights (§§ 437 ff. BGB). You can choose to demand either rectification (repair) or a replacement delivery. Due to the nature of our products, subsequent performance usually takes place through replacement delivery; a repair is usually not economically feasible, and we reserve the right to refuse it according to § 439 (4) BGB. If neither is possible or reasonable, you can withdraw from the contract or reduce the purchase price.
Costs
In the event of a justified complaint, we will cover all costs necessary to remedy the defect – this includes outbound shipping, return shipping, and, if applicable, a replacement shipment.
Deadline
You have two years from receipt of the goods to assert your warranty rights.
How to make a complaint
Please contact us by email at support@sevenwaves.de with the following information: order number, affected item, description of the defect and – if possible – photos. We will get back to you within two business days with the next steps and, if necessary, send you a free return label.
3. Exchange – if the size or color is not right
As an additional service beyond the statutory right of withdrawal, we offer you an uncomplicated exchange. This way, you get the right item faster, without the detour of withdrawal and reordering.
Conditions
- Deadline: 14 days from receipt of goods.
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and with all tags in a resaleable condition.
- Swimwear: exchangeable only with an undamaged hygiene seal (see separate note below).
- Availability of the desired item in the desired size/color is a prerequisite.
Costs
You bear the costs of the return. In case of a price difference between the originally ordered item and the new desired item, we will refund the difference or request the remaining amount.
Important: The exchange is a voluntary service provided by us. Your statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected by this. Therefore, even if all exchange conditions are met, you can always choose to withdraw instead.
Special note: Swimwear and hygiene items
Swimwear and similar body-worn hygiene items are delivered with a hygiene seal. This serves for your protection and the protection of our other customers.
Important to know:
As long as the hygiene seal is intact, you can return swimwear like any other item – both by withdrawal and by exchange.
Once you remove the hygiene seal, your statutory right of withdrawal according to § 312g (2) No. 3 BGB expires. We can then no longer take back unsealed swimwear for reasons of health protection and hygiene.
Our tip: Please always try on swimwear with underwear and without removing the hygiene seal.
How your return works step by step
- Retrieve order: Go to your order overview in your customer account.
- Select items: Choose the items you wish to return.
- State reason: Select whether you want to withdraw, complain, or exchange. For exchanges: please state desired size/color. You can also use the sample withdrawal form on our "Right of Withdrawal" page – but you don't have to. If you wish to withdraw by email, send your withdrawal declaration to: support@sevenwaves.de
- Receive confirmation: You will immediately receive an email with the confirmation. For withdrawals and exchanges, you can optionally download a prepared return label or send the goods with your own shipping service provider to the address provided. For complaints, we will send you a free return label within two business days.
- Pack and send: Place the items in suitable packaging and drop off the package at the shipping service provider. For withdrawals, you have 14 days to do this from your declaration of withdrawal.
- Refund: As soon as your return has been received by us, we will refund the purchase price to your original payment method in accordance with the regulations described above.
